Player Guide
Understanding Odds Formats for Sports Betting
Four odds formats commonly encountered by Malaysian players — understand the differences before you place your bet.
Malay Odds
A popular format in Malaysia. A positive value (+) means your profit is more than your stake. A negative value (-) means you need to bet more to profit RM1.
Hong Kong Odds
Shows the net profit for every RM1 you stake. A higher number means a larger payout relative to your bet.
Indonesia Odds
A positive value shows the profit per RM1 staked. A negative value shows the amount that must be staked to win RM1 net profit.
Decimal Odds
The European format that is easiest to calculate. Multiply the odds number by your stake to get the full payout amount (including your original stake).
Always bet within your financial means. Betting should be entertainment, not a primary source of income.
